Pawan Kalyan remembers soldiers valour

July 26th is celebrated as Kargil Vijay Diwas. In 1999, from May to July, Indian soldiers fought a valiant battle in J&K's Dras, Kaksar, Batalik, and Turtok Sectors, winning a war against the Pakistan Army in trying circumstances. "Our flag does not fly because the wind moves it; it flies with the last breath of each soldier who died protecting it," the Indian Army said after the victory.

Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan has on Thursday paid a rich tribute to the 500 soldiers who died in the war. "The Indian armed forces fought in sky-high ranges and biting cold, braving attacks from the enemy side, with a steely resolve. Our soldiers wrested back the territories that were snatched away from us. Jana Sainiks bow their heads before all our soldiers," Power Star tweeted out.

Early today, Pawan made an appeal to his supporters to not attack Jagan Mohan Reddy personally. "It has come to my notice that Jagan Mohan Reddy garu's personal criticism of me has hurt so many people. I never comment on the personal lives of anybody. I will never do it for political gains, especially.

I differ with other political parties only on public policy issues, never on personal lives. I sincerely appeal to one and all to never drag Jagan Mohan Reddy garu, his family members, especially women from his family, into the controversy. I plead one and all to ignore the issue," he said.
