Pawan Kalyan is so happy that his fans and Jana Sanikis have been into organization donation activities during the COVID-19 season. Fan groups owing allegiance to Jana Sena Party have been observing a week of charity ahead of Power Star's birthday on September 2.
Acknowledging their work, Pawan on Tuesday said that he has only gratitude towards his fans. He got nostalgic about the days of 'Suswagatham' on the occasion. "When I went to Kurnool (to celebrate the 200-days function of 'Suswagatham'), I was not prepared for a roadshow. I was skeptical about public response. I didn't know how to react upon seeing thousands of fans during the procession. I never knew so many would turn out to catch a glimpse of me," Pawan said, adding that his mindset is still the same when he was a non-entity in Nellore.
In the past, talking about his Kurnool stint, Pawan said, "That day, I remembered what my father used to say. That everybody in this creation is equal. The day you think you are exceptional, you are ruined."
Pawan added that he used to dislike it when his producers and directors used to celebrate his birthday on the sets of his movies.
