Pawan Kalyan is today in Lucknow, the capital city of Uttar Pradesh.  As per a statement from the Jana Sena Party, the chief was there to participate in a meeting with the main leadership of the Bahujan Samaj Party, led by Mayawati.  

During his stay in India's most populous state, Power Star has taken the opportunity to reach out to Dalits through Twitter.  He posted a brief profile of legendary Hindi poet Ramdhari Singh Dhinakar, who worked for the uplift of Dalits.  

In the evening, Pawan clicked pics of a statue of Dr. BR Ambedkar, an icon revered as a champion of the Dalit cause.  He also shared a post on Jyotiba Phule, the Mahatma, who was lionized even by Praja Rajyam Party.
