Powerstar Pawan Kalyan and Rana Daggubati are sharing screen space for the first time in the Telugu remake of the Malayalam film Ayyappanum Koshiyum. A source in the know informed us that the film known as PSPK Rana Movie, is set in Srikakulam and the story has the Naxal-Maoist movement as the backdrop.
Directed by Saagar K Chandra, the film is being produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi. "Saagar has changed the backdrop to Naxal and Maoist conflict and has set the story in Srikakulam. Pawan Kalyan will be seen as an upright cop from the region and Rana plays an ex-soldier. The film will have some of the best confrontation scenes between Pawan and Rana and the action episodes will also thrill the audience big way," reveals a source.
The makers have recently wrapped up a schedule in Hyderabad wherein they have shot a high-voltage action sequence under the supervision of action choreographer Dhilip Subbarayan. The film also features Aishwarya Rajesh as the wife of Rana and the makers have recently approached Nithya Menen to essay Pawan Kalyan's wife.
A leaked picture of Pawan Kalyan from the sets of this untitled film found its way to social media and we see the Vakeel Saab actor dressed in a checkered shirt and denim pant. An SS Thaman musical, the film has screenplay and dialogues written by Trivikram Srinivas.
