Actor and Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan is today in New Delhi. At an event, he handed over a cheque of Rs 1 Cr to Kendriya Sainik Board (Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare) in support of the families of martyrs.
Speaking to the media, Pawan said, "I request all my followers and Jana Sainiks to support this noble cause. I urge everyone to do their bit towards the cause of the welfare of widows of martyrs and their families."
Since he is in Delhi, will Pawan be meeting with any BJP leader? "I don't know whether I will be meeting with anyone during this visit," he replied.
In the afternoon, the actor-politician will address a gathering at the Indian Student Parliament, at Vigyan Bhavan. He has been invited to the Parliament as a keynote speaker.
