It was on this day in 1956 that BR Ambedkar passed away. Actor and Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan today took to social media to pay a rich tribute to the Babasaheb.

"I devoutly pay my sincere homage to the uplifter of the oppressed classes. His thoughts and philosophy are always relevant. It's because I am devoted to him that I visited his old residence in London and also his memorial in Lucknow to pay my a homage," the 'Vakeel Saab' actor wrote, adding that Ambedkar's contributions as a framer of the Indian Constitution will always be remembered.
On the work front, Power Star is doing 'Bheemla Nayak'. The other day, a song from the movie was out. 'Adavi Thalli Maata' is its title. The film is directed and written by Saagar K Chandra and Trivikram, respectively. The Sithara Entertainments production will hit the screens on 12 January 2022.
