Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan has condoled the passing away of former Chief Election Commissioner TN Seshan. Recalling his immense contributions, the actor-politician described Seshan as a divine soul.
"Our motherland has lost an exceptional, extraordinary and illustrious son. As the 10th CEC from 1990-96, he showed to every citizen of our motherland how a sincere, upright and dedicated civil servant is capable of bringing in sweeping changes just by sticking to rules and regulations. With his sheer iron-will and steadfastness, he has put an end to decades-old malpractices in the country's elections. He was an epitome of transparency and efficiency, and his performance has become a touchstone for individuals who man prominent public offices," Power Star said.
Earlier, Pawan pooh-poohed the language policy of the new AP government. "YCP leadership should take lessons from Telangana CM Sri KCR on how to safeguard language and culture," he wrote.
