With hundreds agitating in Visakhapatnam demanding the shutting down of LG Polymers Pvt. Ltd., actor-politician Pawan Kalyan on Saturday opined that this is not the time for agitations. Rather, our energies must be spent on helping out the victims of the Vizag Gas Leak tragedy.
"In times of Corona Pandemic, we should focus on helping the victims, not be doing agitations. Certain political parties are doing agitations about ‘LG polymers gas leak’ in Visakhapatnam and it will only increase the numbers of Covid-19 patients. The situation might go out of hand," the 'Vakeel Saab' actor said.
He requested his party's cadres and leaders not to be part of such agitations. "Kindly focus on reaching out to the victims' families. Let’s wait, till the final reports of state and central governments on the gas leak (sic)," Pawan added.
The 'Virupaksha' actor condemned Friday night's attack on TV5's office in Hyderabad. "I express my solidarity with the media house," he said.
