The losses have shocked his supporters. Jana Sainiks must be feeling totally demoralized across the State of Andhra Pradesh. Had Pawan won, he could have hoped to make a mark through some rare speeches. The unceremonious defeats in the two constituencies are something he and his party can't come out of so easily.

Pawan entered the political race without financial resources. He could not distribute money to the voters, as he avowedly believes in clean politics. Jana Sena has won just 1 seat in the 175-member Assembly.
