Pawan Kalyan today put out the list of issues that were raised by him and his party's supporters, local Uttarandhra population and other concerned stakeholders during a brainstorming session with "intellectuals".
As per the Jana Sena leader, these are the issues that were flagged at the meet. "Business and politics are dominated by non-locals; the local culture and language are being ridiculed; migration has to stop; local entrepreneurs should be encouraged; land grabbing of prime lands should be averted from land mafia; tribal lands are to be protected; the proposed bauxite mining operations should be given up; land acquisition happens at cheap rates and even after years, the local populace derives no real benefit from the projects in place," says Pawan.
He warned today that there will be a separate statehood movement if the exploitation of Uttarandhara continues. "Even Telangana movement started off like this and it became a great movement and they had achieved statehood. If the greed, cruelty and oppression continue by the ‘Ruling classes of AP’, even Uttarandhra will become a separate state in the next few years or less," Power Star noted.
