The pre-release event of 'Bheemla Nayak' was held on Wednesday evening in the presence of chief guest KTR. Speaking on the occasion, actor Rana Daggubati thanked the KCR government for all the support it has been extending for the betterment of the Telugu film industry.

KTR said:

I want to tell Pawan anna something today. I was there at this very venue four years ago for an event at the invitation of Chiranjeevi garu and Ram Charan. I am here today not as a people's representative. When I invoked Pawan garu's name that day, cheers rented the air for some time and I couldn't speak anything.

There are many superstars but Pawan garu is one actor who has got cult following. I watched 'Toli Prema' when in college. It has been 25 years. His fan following has remained strong. It's extraordinary.

We have resolved to make Hyderabad the capital of the Indian film industry under the leadership of KCR garu. We need the support of elders like Pawan garu in this regard.

I congratulate the makers of 'Bheemla Nayak' for making famous some unknown talents such as Kinnera Mogulaiah.

A true artist is above casteist and other small binaries. It's because several elders and politicians supported the film industry that it could be migrated from Chennai to Hyderabad. It's good that the industry is receiving enhanced support from Chief Minister KCR garu and Cinematography Minister T Srinivas Yadav garu.

Despite being a politician, I am doing movies responsibly. I am as responsible as I was when I did 'Kushi'. Producers Naga Vamsi and Chinababu garu supported me by adjusting schedules keeping in mind my political schedules.

The story of 'Bheemla Nayak' is about a battle between arrogance and self-respect. I thank Trivikram Srinivas garu for adapting the Malayalam original. As director Saagar K Chandra has said, he is the root cause of the movie. Without him, this movie wouldn't have existed. I also thank Rana Daggubati for his amazing performance. Samyuktha Menon and Nitya Menen have done an excellent job. Ravi K Chandran's visuals are solid. Art director AS Prakash, editor Navin Nooli and other technicians have done their best.
