In taking a dig at the ruling party in Andhra Pradesh, Pawan Kalyan has spoken of the "inspiring story of Sri Kame Gowda", the lonely man from Karnataka who has reportedly single-handedly dug fourteen tanks over four decades.
"He made a barren hilly terrain into a green zone, which shelters many birds, animals now. He never claimed, what he did, nor he wanted the world to recognize him. But a good deed eventually will. I think Sri CBN garu & DISCIPLE of Minister Sri Narayana garu - AP Panchayati Raj minister Sri Lokesh garu, should read this to understand, “without making any tall claims, how a simple, downtrodden man from Karnataka’s remote regional area could achieve such a Herculean task," the Jana Sena chief said.
He then focused on the failure of the government to complete the Polavaram Project. "With all the resources; sweat and blood of migrant labour, eminent engineers and thousands of crores at your disposal and also displacing tribals, other communities from their ancestral villages, uprooting them from their cultural identity & also by not paying their due compensation.....still ... you are not able to complete the Polavaram project. At least correct yourself now," Power Star wrote.
