Pawan Kalyan has decided not to attend the all-party meet over special status to be presided over by Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday. In an open statement issued on Tuesday night, the Jana Sena chief said that the meet comes across as a token gesture.
"I thank the Chief Minister for extending the invite. However, I have received the invite on Tuesday evening when the meet is on Wednesday. How can it be onuch a short notice without giving attendees adequate time? Also, how can the meet be held without cogitating over the agenda for a considerable time? This seems to be a token gesture that I doubt is being made to score political brownie points," Pawan said.
The Jana Sena leader called upon all the parties to wage a united struggle for special status.
