She is among the top 15 best rifle shooters in a country of 1.2 billion people. C Rekha, an ambitious sportswoman from Anantapur, has dreams to win a medal at the Olympics. She is a champion but suffers from lack of needed sports equipment. "Rifle shooting is a costly proposition. When I contacted Power Star through some channel and talked to him about my problem, he reacted favourably. He encouraged me by lending a financial support of Rs. 5 lakhs and also instilled spirit in me by his words," she said.

Rekha has now seen the unknown side of Pawan the actor. "I have only known him as an actor. Today I know the greatness in him. He spoke to me like a brother," she added.

Pawan's long-time liking for Rifle shooting is well-known. We have seen him play the sport in most of his films.
