Producer Sharath Marar has made the title of Power Star's next official. On the eve of #pspk Pawan Kalyan's birthday, Northstar Entertainment proudly announces the title of the film under production as 'Katamarayudu'", Marar tweeted minutes ago.

Power Star has apparently evinced interest in the title for the reason that it sounds grand while suiting the Seema nativity. Above all, it's the title of a song Pawan crooned in his blockbuster hit 'Attarintiki Daredi'.

This is not the first time that a Pawan film will have a massy title. 'Gudumba Shankar', 'Bangaram', 'Annavaram', 'Panjaa', and 'Gabbar Singh' ('Sardaar Gabbar Singh' follows) come to mind. However, 'Katamarayudu' is at another level because it's not colloquial-soundng like 'Gudumba Shankar' nor an imported one like 'Gabbar Singh'. It's not like 'Panjaa' or 'Bangaram', which are not names.

The film is directed by Dolly of 'Gopala Gopala' fame and will go to floors soon.
