Picking from a song from 'Attarintiki Daredi', the title 'Katamarayudu' was fixed by the makers who were particular about it. Not only is the number very popular, but also that the title suits the Rayalaseema backdrop of the movie. On March 18, when the pre-release event of the movie was held, it was co-incidentally a special day at Kadiri Narasimha Swamy temple, also known as Katamarayudu temple.

A day before the release of this mass entertainer, producer Sharrath Marar made it a point to have Lord's darshan. As per his statement, Pawan Kalyan was very particular about paying a pilgrimage by the makers before the film's release.

"We have made a beautiful film with all the right ingredients. Pawan Kalyan garu will surely make a visit to this temple when he comes to Anantapur in near future," the producer, known to be very close to Power Star, said.
