The release of 'Vakeel Saab' in Andhra Pradesh has witnessed a couple of disturbing events. At the Srinivasa Theatre in Jogulamba Gadwal district, the early morning benefit show had to be cancelled due to a technical snag. This angered the fanboys, who had gathered there with a lot of enthusiasm to watch the Pawan Kalyan-starrer. Reportedly, irate fans went out of control and ransacked a part of the theatre. Visuals of them damaging glass windows are out. 

In yet another unusual event, the early morning shows were cancelled at the last moment due to a lack of police permission in West Godavari. Irate fans felt that it was done deliberately at the behest of the local MLA, who belongs to the ruling YCP. At Nidadavole in West Godavari district, scores of fans assembled outside MLA G Srinivasa Naidu's house as a mark of protest against the alleged vendetta. 

There has been a feeling among sections of Power Star's fans that the YCP is targeting 'Vakeel Saab' due to political reasons.
