As the release of Devara approaches, Jr NTR received strong backing from none other than Power Star Pawan Kalyan, marking a significant moment in Tollywood. Pawan, in his role as Andhra Pradesh's Deputy Chief Minister, took to social media for the first time to extend his support to NTR, highlighting the healthy camaraderie between two of Telugu cinema’s biggest stars.

In a special gesture, NTR expressed his gratitude to the Andhra Pradesh government for approving higher ticket prices and allowing additional screenings for Devara, a move that greatly benefits big-budget films. The actor tweeted his thanks to Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan, and Cinematography Minister Kandula Durgesh for their support of the Telugu film industry.

The decision to increase ticket rates and permit extra shows comes as a breath of fresh air for filmmakers and producers, especially after the challenges posed by the previous YCP regime under YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, which had significantly lowered ticket prices, leading to losses for big-budget films. With the formation of the Telugu Desam-Janasena-BJP coalition government, spearheaded by Naidu and Kalyan, the industry is witnessing much-needed relief.

Pawan Kalyan, in his tweet from the platform 'X,' responded to NTR’s gratitude, assuring that the new NDA government under Naidu will continue to stand by the Telugu film industry. The NDA government, led by Shri Nara Chandrababu Naidu, will do what is necessary to support the Telugu film industry, and we will continue to stand by it, Pawan wrote, extending his best wishes to NTR for the success of Devara.

Pawan Kalyan has long championed the interests of the film industry, frequently raising concerns about its struggles during his campaign prior to his victory in the AP elections. He promised that under his leadership, the industry would face no hurdles. True to his word, the new government has been proactive in ensuring that Telugu cinema thrives once again. This latest move only further cements the commitment of the government towards supporting the film industry, a sentiment echoed by fans and insiders alike.
