Pawan Kalyan has condoled the demise of actor-writer Raavi Kondala Rao. Describing him as a multi-faceted personality, the Jana Sena chief on Tuesday expressed deepest condolences to Rao's bereaved family.
"The many contributions of Kondala Rao garu to the film industry will always be remembered. His death is an irreparable loss. As a cine writer and an actor, he rendered yeoman services. As a scribe, his contributions to cine journalism were stellar. He documented a number of momentous developments in the film industry," Pawan wrote in an official note.
Saying that Rao's association with the industry spanned six decades, Pawan mentioned his collaboration with the Bapu-Ramana duo. "As the writer of 'Pelli Pusthakam', Rao garu won laurels and awards. My brother Chiranjeevi garu's 'Mantri Gaari Viyyankudu' and 'Chantabbayi' had him in memorable roles. When I happened to meet him in 2019 at a book launch event, we both discussed a lot on the changes in the film industry," Pawan said.
