Pasupuleti Ramarao, the well-known film journalist, writer, and PRO, passed away at a private hospital in Hyderabad on Tuesday morning. He was admitted to the hospital at Vanasthalipuram due to a urinary infection. His body has been brought to his residence at Indira Nagar. Earlier today, Megastar Chiranjeevi described Ramarao as his "aathma bandhuvu".
Jana Sena leader Pawan Kalyan has paid a tribute to Ramarao. "He was a Leftist by conviction and was highly principled. His books on Telugu cinema will always be valued," Power Star said.
Interestingly, Ramrao's son's name is Kalyan Naga Chiranjeevi. He deliberately named him that way out of affection for Chiru. The departed soul used to be in touch with the Megastar on a regular basis.
