Pawan Kalyan on Saturday condoled the demise of BA Raju. In his statement issued through Jana Sena Party, the actor-politician said that the departed soul was familiar to the film industry both as a PRO and a film journalist.
"His demise has saddened me deeply. I pray to God that his pure soul rests in peace. I knew him since my days in Chennai. He was a journalist who was extremely passionate about cinema. He was the PRO of annayya Chiranjeevi garu's various movies. He proved his mettle as a publisher of Super Hit, the magazine, and as a film producer. My deepest condolences to his bereaved family," the Jana Sena chief said.

Earlier in the day, Megastar Chiranjeevi wrote that he used to interact with Raju ever since he was in Chennai. The 'Vakeel Saab' actor knew Raju back in the 1990s, too.
The Telugu film industry is shocked over the death of Raju, who was the publicist of about 1500 movies. Mahesh Babu, Jr NTR, Prabhas, Nandamuri Balakrishna, Venkatesh, Nagarjuna, Suriya, Karthi, Vishal and several others today wrote condolence messages.
