Pawan Kalyan on Sunday, addressing his cadres, said that politics of hegemony have to end. In saying so, he took the example of the Telugu film industry and how it is a democratic space.

"The Telugu film industry is not a Mega family fiefdom or somebody else's sole property. It doesn't belong to only a few heroes. No one caste dominates the industry. A film like 'Karthikeya 2' is firing from all cylinders on the national level. It stars Nikhil. Tollywood has gone national. Change has to happen everywhere. There was a time when Apartheid in South Africa was the reigning ideology. Nelson Mandela brought a revolution. In our society, too, backward classes must be empowered. It will happen for sure," Power Star commented.
