The Jana Sena Party has issued an official statement days ahead of the Kakinada public speech by Pawan Kalyan on Sept 9. The party (which has no structure in place and which is a one-man entity) has christened the meet as ' Seemandhrula Aatma Gaurava Sabha (which translates to Seemandhraites' Self-Respect Meet in English).

Pawan had in his Tirupathi speech days ago invoked the Telugu self-respect in the context of slamming the AP's political leadership's "begging" for bifurcation or SCS from the Centre.

The actor-cum-JSP chief has said that he will fight for Special Category Status to Andhra Pradesh in three stages. His supporters are waiting for the Sept 9 event.
