Pawan Kalyan has opined that there should a committee of officials to bring out the actual figures of funds given by the Centre to Andhra Pradesh.
"On reading the long letter of Amit Shah to Nara Chandrababu Naidu garu, and on listening to the latter's equally long speech in the Legislative Assembly, the people of Andhra Pradesh have realized that the BJP will never accord Special Category Status to the state, and neither will the TDP be able to achieve it. Amit Shah has once again repeated the same old song that Andhra Pradesh has failed to properly utilize the thousands of crores allocated to it. Similarly, the Chief Minister has once again thundered that the BJP has done injustice to the state," Pawan Kalyan began saying.
He added in the statement, "Why not constitute a special committee comprising bureaucrats serving the state and the Centre to come up with the figures? Why can't the state government take into consideration the findings of our Joint Fact-Finding Committee and question the Centre? The people are frustrated with the same 'musugulo guddhulata'. I urge the state and the Centre not to take things to a situation where the people will want to come out in the open and agitate for what they want."
The Jana Sena leader further said that he is planning to hold deliberations with the Left parties to discuss the situation that the BJP and the TDP have led to. We will decide how to fulfill the wishes of the people in this meeting.
