For Neelima Tirumalasetty, one of the producers of Panjaa, films happened although she never planned it. In retrospect, she says thankfully that Pawan Kalyan is the inspiring force behind this project.

Already touted as a gangster classic, the film, set to release on Dec. 9, has been making waves since the day the audio was released on Nov. 19. From the title track to the soothing melodies, Yuvan Shankar Raja has swept everyone off their feet.

The makers say that Panjaa "is not your regular four songs- three fights-one item number fare. They will regale you. The humour, drama and action sync well into the story." Driving home the point that all actors were chosen only after factoring in their aptness for the roles, they say that the film has many intriguing scenes between Pawan and Jackie Shroff (of Bollywood).

Adivi Sesh and Atul Kulkarni are the two other actors you should watch out for. While Adivi Sesh of Karma fame plays a character with villainous traits, Atul Kulkarni, a two-time National Award winner, has an ineresting character in the drama.

The State is bracing up to taste Panjaa.
