Television actress Pavni Reddy was one of the more popular contestants of 'Bigg Boss 5' hosted by Kamal Haasan in which she was adjudged the 2nd runner up. Dance choreographer Amir who was also on the show became close to her and making fans believe that they are a couple.

Pavni participated as a special guest held at a Women's College in Chennai in view of the International Women's Day. She expressed her thanks to her fans stating that she was nominated to be evicted by the other contestants right from day one till the very end but those who voted for her saved her every time.

The actress then gave the advice that women should march forward in life ignoring all the criticisms that come their way. She also added that even if they get married girls should not think that thier husbands should look after them but be independant and take care of themselves.

The crowd then asked her about her marriage to which she replied that she too is expectant of that and her family are looking out for a suitable groom. The students then started chanting "Amir" to which Pavni laughed and told them that there is nothing between them apart from friendship and it something does develop she herself will come out with it.
