The title of the film starring former Indian cricketer S Ramesh has changed to ‘Potta Potti’ from ‘Patta Patti’.

Apparently the producers have realized lately that ‘Patta Patti’ title is not eligible for the government tax sop and so is the last minute change. The film which should have been released last year itself is finally releasing in this March.

‘Potta Potti’ is a comedy between two village teams playing cricket. Sadagopan Ramesh acts as a cricket coach in this movie who stops at a village en route to his native place. There he lands up in a situation to take up the coach’s job to one of the village team that is playing a cricket match with the neighbouring village.

Though ‘Potta Potti’ is a cricket comedy it has its share of romance too. New comer Harini plays the love interest of Ramesh. The film is directed by Debutant Yuvaraj for AVR Talkies in association with Flicker Studios.
