Patil on politics and police

The sitting MLA from Hirekerur Assembly constituency, former cop, actor, producer and director BC Patil has completed ‘Salute’ taking a dig at politics and police in this democratic system of the country. BC Patil looking rotund invited the media to have a look at the songs he has stored for his film ‘Salute’ at Kari Subbu Balaji Digital Studio in Abbainaidu Studio premises.

BC Patil thanking his ex boss former DGP Dinakaran for disturbing him in service admitted it is because such severe strictures passed on me I was able to get out of police department and become MLA twice Patil patted to himself.

Coming back to cinema after five years BC Patil said he had seen the expenditure increasing five times from his days of production. There has been some tough dialogues in the film that is related to the present day democracy – for the mistake of two persons crores of expenditure incurred for another by election, education class not voting and only 60 percent voting since first elections, the buying of uneducated votes, horse trading all come one by one in the narration said Patil.

I have not just speedily consumed the raw stock. There is sufficient stuff in the shooting done in Bangalore, Belgaum and other places. I had to wait for 25 days for the election; there was good support from Prabhakar Kore of KLE College in Belgaum Patil remembered.

Patil’s ‘Salute’ is appearing before the audience in the second week of June this year.
