'Pathinettam Padi' actor Nakul Thampi, who met with a road accident last month is now in critical condition at a private hospital. The family has already spent Rs 7 lakh for his treatment and requires Rs 12 lakh more for further treatment. The actor's friends and family took to their social media pages seeking financial support for his medical expenses.

Actors Ahaana Krishna and Saniya Iyappan too requested their fans to help them raise funds for his treatment. Nakul met with an accident on January 5 while he was traveling with his friend. Reportedly, a private bus hit their car. Nakul suffered severe brain injury including dislocated hip, clavicle and nasal fracture. The actor is currently admitted at Velammal hospital in Tamil Nadu.

Nakul rose to fame as a dancer with a dance reality show. He made his Mollywood debut with the Mammootty starrer ‘Pathinettam Padi'.
