Superstar Shahrukh Khan has been working on his comeback film 'Pathan' for quite some time now. The project has faced several hurdles due to the pandemic as well as SRK's family problems and the latest buzz suggests that it might get delayed even further due to the recent surge in Covid-19 cases. Apparently, the crew was supposed to film some key sequences in Spain but due to the rise of Covid-19 cases in the country, makers of 'Pathan' are compelled to delay the shoot.

A source close to the development told a news outlet, "The shoot for Pathan was to first take place in October in Spain where two songs were to be filmed apart from some action sequences. But that was not to be as Shah Rukh Khan had to take a break due to the case against Aryan. But now, when he had allotted these dates in January, the Covid-19 cases in Spain are on an all-time high.”

The source added, "Pathan makers are considering pushing the schedule to February after consultation with Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone on whom the songs and some talkie portions are to be picturised in a little over three weeks.”

Apart from this one, Shahrukh also has projects with filmmakers Atlee and Rajkumar Hirani in production.
