Kamal Haasan has gone thara local writing and singing his first movie song "Pathala Pathala" after a long gap. The song from the upcoming 'Vikram' directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj is tuned by Anirudh Ravichander.
On the surface level the 'Pathala Pathala" song may seem a light hearted "kuthu" song that flows with energy. Going in depth it contains politically charged lyrics taking potshots at the ruling central government, the pandemic situation and pariticularly the economical setback faced by one and all right now. The genius of Kamal is in making it simple and layered at the same time. Another huge bonus for the Andavar fans is to get to see him shaking his leg in the lyric video and hopefully they can catch his unique dancing in the film.
All that Anirudh touches turns gold right now and 'Pathala Pathala' is yet another zesty number from him that will soon play on everyone's lips. The full audio and the trailer of 'Vikram' will be released on May 15th at 6pm at the Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai. The ensemble cast comprises of Kamal Haasan, Vijay Sethupathi, Fahadh Faasil, S. Gayathrie, Santhanabharathi and Narain.
