‘Pathaan’ beats ‘RRR’ hands down!

As expected, ‘Pathaan’ has surpassed the lifetime collections of ‘RRR’ in the US and Canada by grossing $14.3 million. The film has achieved the feat in just two weeks.

It may be noted that the film has successfully breached the Rs 300 Cr mark overseas. In the UAE and GCC countries, the action thriller grossed $11.41 million, while in UK and Ireland, it made $4.15 million.

In Australia, the film made $2.87 million, while another $5.95 million came from the rest of the world. The SRK-John Abraham-Deepika Padukone’s total overseas collections are $38.68 million. This is approximately Rs 12 Cr more than the three-billion mark. 

The film, produced by Yash Raj Films and directed by Siddharth Anand, is expected to gross more than Rs 900 Cr by the end of its run. SRK will have two more releases this year: ‘Jawan’ and ‘Dunki’.
