Vijay Deverakonda, who was at Signature Masterclass' Hyderabad edition event on Sunday, said that he had to go through a lot of struggles to find his ground in the film industry for four full years after making his debut in an insignificant role many years ago. The tide turned in his favour only after Nag Ashwin's 'Yevade Subrahmanyam' released. 'Pelli Choopulu' added much strength later.
"Passion is what made the difference. With passion, you may not need luck to be on your side," the 'Geetha Govindam' and 'Taxiwala' actor says.
'Dear Comrade', directed by Bharat Kamma, will head to theatres in May. This one has Deverakonda romancing Rashmika Mandanna. A love story with director Kranthi Madhav will follow next. There are reports that Deverakonda will work with a debutant director for a 2020 movie.
