Dr Parvathamma Rajakumar was a torch bearer to so many in the Kannada cinema industry she was always on the road of success producing 80 plus films in her career.

Now a Road` – Yediyur ward of South Bengaluru has been named as Parvathamma Rajakumar Rasthe. South End Road stretch between Nittur Srinivasa Rao circle and Madhavan Rao circle is precise area.

Bengaluru City mayor G Padmavathi, Deputy Mayor Anand, Tejaswini Ananthkumar wife of union minister Ananthkumar, councillor Poornima Ramesh, NR Ramesh, Raghavendra Rajakumar, Vinay Rajakumar and sister of Dr Rajakumar – Nagamma and others were present.

At a place very near to this place Shantha theatre was situated where 27 films of Dr Rajakumar completed 100 days. The government of Karnataka especially BBMP naming a road in my mother name is a good gesture stated Raghavendra Rajakumar.

Raghavendra Rajakumar also taken up the task of planting saplings in and around this area and make it greener he assured.

Apparently there was unanimous decision at Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) meeting to name the road as Parvathamma Rajakumar Rasthe.
