Karthi’s costar Pandi and his wife pass away on the same day

Karthi’s debut movie ‘Paruthi Veeran’ had the famous number ‘Oororam puliyamaram’ which was sung and performed by Pandi who has also acted and sung folk songs in films like ‘Maatu Thavani’ and ‘Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu’.

It has been reported that Pandi a folk singer who hails from Kariyappatti in Virudhunagar went to a funeral and did not return home for a long time. When his relatives went in search they found him dead near a bridge. When the body was brought home his wife Pachiammaal was shell shocked and complaining of chest pain, but died in the hospital due to the heart attack. The entire village is shocked by the death of the couple. We extend our deepest respects to the departed souls.
