Director R.Parthiepan’s next Kadhai Thirakkadhai Vasanam Iyakkam that has new comers in lead roles and a host of leading actors making cameo is in news for the inclusion of another celebrity. Acclaimed actress Simran has been roped in for the film. Interestingly Simran will not be acting in the film but she will be crooning a number in the film.

Prathiepan has confirmed this news in an interview. Parthiepan has said that only a portion of the song was recorded with Simran’s voice since she has to leave abroad. She is expected to return on May 9. The team hopes to complete recording the song within time so that It can be included it in the film. Otherwise the song sung by Simran will be showcased in the audio launch. The music for the film is being scored by Alphonse Raj who is a acclaimed composer cum playback singer in Malayalam film industry.

Regarding the status of the film Perthiepan has said that the shooting is 90% complete. Only a few scenes featuring Vishal and Prakash Raj remains to be canned.
