Actor-director Rahakrishnan Parthiban has planned to conduct the audio launch of his upcoming directorial 'Koditta Idangalai Nirappuga' as a grand event to felicitate his Guru director K.Bhagyaraj. The event has been titled as 'Thiraippakkiyam' named after the director who is hailed as a master of Screenplay in Indian cinema.

It is worth noting that Parthiban assisted Bhagyaraj before becoming a director on his own with 'Puthiya Pathai'. He has cast Bhagyaraj's son actor Shanthanu as the male lead of 'Kodittai Idangalai Nirappuga' and has said it is his way of repaying his indebtedness to his mentor.

All the directors who are former associates and assistants of Bhagyaraj will take part in this event as guests. Those directors who were not lucky to work under the veteran but have a lot of admiration for him will also be participating.

Parthiban says it will be a beautiful platform to honour the most deserving artist (director) at the apt time. He has sought the support of film industry as well as media friends to make it more interesting and meaningful.

The date and venue will be announced soon. C.Sathya has rendered the musical score for 'Koditta Idangalai Nirappuga' that has Shanthanu, Parvathy Nair and Simran in pivotal roles.
