Veteran Director-Actor R.Parthiban's 'Koditta Idangalai Nirappuga' which has been scheduled to hit the screens on December 30 has been postponed to Pongal. The new official posters of the film carry the release date as 'January 12 2017'.

This adds to the already jampacked Pongal schedule in Kollywood. As of now the films announced as a Pongal release are Vijay's 'Bairavaa', Vijay Sethupathi's 'Puriyaadha Pudhir', G.V.Prakash Kumar's 'Bruce Lee', Arun Vijay's 'Kuttram 23', Kalaiyarasan's 'Adhey Kangal', Jai's 'Enakku Vaaitha Adimaigal' and Krishna's 'Yakkai'. Now 'KIN' joins as the eighth in the list.

The film stars Shanthanu Bhagyaraj and Parvathy Nair in lead roles. Thambi Ramaiah plays an important supporting character while yesteryear dream girl Simran will be playing an extended cameo role. Parthiban will also be seen in an important role.

C.Sathya has rendered the musical score for the film which has acquired a U/A Censor Certificate.
