Director and actor R Parthiban was last seen on screen in the action movie Ayogya, starring Vishal and Raashi Khanna, and directed by debutant Venkat Mohan. The movie, which was the remake of Telugu hit movie Temper, had Parthiban playing a humorous villain.

Next, the actor is all set to return to direction 2 years after the Shanthanu, Parvathi starrer Koditta Idangalai Nirappuga, with Oththa Seruppu Size 7. The movie has been appreciated by top stars of India, who had joined hands to wish the movie good luck, and praised Parthiban's efforts.

Now, the movie which will have only Parthiban and no other actor as part of the cast, has achieved a unique record. Oththa Seruppu has won the Limca book of records Asia and India record for the solo act feature film acted, produced, directed and written by one man. Oththa Seruppu releases on August 30.
