Sitting pretty in full sleeve green T-shirt and black trousers in her cabin at India’s premium production house YRF office in Mumbai, the latest tinsel town lovely and fair Parineeti Chopra is without any stardom air. While giving telephonic interviews for her first solo lead as ‘Zoya’ in Habib Faisal’s directed ‘Ishaqzaade’ she suddenly comes out of her cabin goes straight towards the room where her co-star, debutant Arjun Kapoor is giving an interview peeps through the glass and starts teasing the newcomer.

Well... That’s the utterly, bubbly and delicious actor Parineeti Chopra for you whose attitude as a mast Punjabi has not changed even after sweeping the entire major award circuit in the best debut category last year for ‘Ladies V/s Ricky Behl’.

The girl is enjoying all the attention but is somewhat surprised why her company YRF and people around are treating her as a ‘heroine’ of their film and asking her to follow certain code of conducts.

“Now I meet Aditya and Yashji which was a rare opportunity before and I knew only a few from the company. But now many people from YRF recognize me. It’s a terrific feeling,” shares the beaming actress.

There’s an interesting story behind the girl’s acting glory at YRF – Parineeti, who dreamt of becoming an investment banker, has done triple honours in Business, Finance and Economics from the Manchester Business School in England. Unable to get a job due to recession Parineeti was forced to return to her home in India.

With an intention of an internship for six months, Parineeti bumped into Yash Raj Studios by chance and met the Marketing head Rafiq Gangjee and her journey on the other side of the media began.

Parineeti’s love for acting blossomed while working with actors like Rani Mukherjee, Ranveer Singh, Anushka Sharma during YRF movie promotions and she decided to become an actor.

Sharing her experience when she got her first break as an actor Parineeti says, “I was thrilled when I came to know I was doing Ladies V/s Ricky Behl with Ranveer Singh. Then I was told Anushka Sharma is the lead actress and I am a supporting actor. Then I came to know there where in total three supporting actress and I’m one of them. But grace of God I got the maximum attention and thankful to Aditya Chopra who identified my true potential.

The girl is banking on her lead in ‘Ishaqzaade’ where she plays ‘Zoya’ and says she is an animal in the film, “Arjun and I both are animals in the film who are told that they are born to hate each other and can die to kill. In the process of hatred they realize that they have something in common which cannot separate them and now they are in a fix as they start loving each other. Habib Sir has written an amazing script,” she concludes refusing to share more on the story of the film.

While everybody is waiting for the new sunshine for Parineeti with ‘Ishaqzaade’ the market buzz is loud about the new kid on the block Arjun Kapoor who is making his debut. Parineeti is jealous that the kid bagged the item song ‘munda jawan’ and left her wanting for the same. But still the lovingly bubbly Punjaban is a kudi with a good heart and has words of appreciation for the debutant and says that Arjun was her senior on the sets as he has the experience of film making behind him and is happy to have such a spontaneous and dedicated actor as her co star. She is more glad to find that Arjun’s fan club is taking its shape even before the release of ‘Ishaqzaade’.

Finally on her famous cousin Priyanka Chopra Parineeti vows to maintain the dignity and good work her sister has done in her illustrious career spanning ten years by not doing any bad work and wishes she makes her own mark and identity as an actor and of course as a star. Says the actor, “Priyanka is ten years ahead of me and has a long body of good work behind. I will try my best to see that people recognized me by my good work that makes Priyanka proud as I make my mark as an actor and a star.

On quipped on the passion to be a star pats comes the reply, “Everybody wants to be the best. And achieve the maximum level, as you want your write up to be read by more and more people. I also want my acting skills and my talents gain new heights and reach up to the maximum level.”

That’s Parineeti Chopra…. B-town bindass bala, the utterly bubbly and delicious actor Bollywood is waiting for…
