Her bubbly personality has now won her the chance to host one of the prestigious events – the upcoming third edition of Global Indian Music Academy (GIMA) awards. The ceremony, that is scheduled for 1st October 2012, will have Parineeti sharing the mike with someone whose identity has kept under suspense.

Quoted the actress in an interview, "I will be hosting the GIMA awards with a special co-host this year. I have a great co-host, but that is a big surprise... you will have to wait and watch. I can't disclose it now."

This is the first time that Parineeti will be hosting such a grand show and she is quite excitedly looking forward to it. Instead of following a script, she is planning to make use of her spontaneity on stage. Remarked Parineeti further, "After becoming an actress, I have never hosted any show, but during school days, I used to host. I am very spontaneous, so it might work well for me. Just reading the scripts might get boring at times, so I hope my spontaneity works on stage as well.”
