Actor-director Bhagyaraj’s Parijatham, which introduces his daughter Saranya on the big screen will be releasing this Friday.

The film has been ready and waiting for release since last six months. The elections and the political climate in the State were the reasons for the delay.

The movie which has story, screenplay, dialogues and direction by Bhagyaraj features Prithviraj in the lead role.

Being distributed by Oscar Ravichandran , the movie is expected to open up in many theatres.

Bhagyaraj, who recently joined DMK, is hopeful that the movie would click.

The movie has musical score by Dharan and character artistes like Sarath Babu and Prakash Raj will add to the story’s weight.

There is also good expectation over Saranya’s performance as she has the right genes for acting.
