Few months back, it was announced that makers of 'Hera Pheri' franchise are planning a third installment of the series and unfortunately actor Akshay Kumar is not going to be a part of it. Actor Paresh Rawal, who plays the iconic role of Baburao in the series, also confirmed that Akshay Kumar has indeed walked out of the projet and that Kartik Aaryan has been roped in.

This created lots of outrage among fans who assumed that Akshay has been replaced by Kartik. In a recent media interaction, Paresh Rawal stated that he doesn't understand what the whole ruckus is about. According to a report in Mid-Day, the actor stated, "Hera Pheri 3 is definitely happening, and my corner as Babulal is secure. I knew that Kartik Aaryan is doing it, so I said it. What is there to hide? Earlier, when [the late] Neeraj Vora was to direct Phir Hera Pheri 3 with John Abraham and Abhishek Bachchan, it got shelved for some reason after a portion was shot. Even at that time, there was not so much controversy."

He further added, "I don't know whether Akshay is doing the film, but I know that Kartik was part of it. It happened in front of me. That's why I said it's true. Once the script is complete, things will become clearer."

Before 'Hera Pheri 3', Paresh Rawal will be seen in films like 'Dream Girl 2' and 'Shehzada'.
