Brilliant actor Paresh Rawal has been in the industry for a long time now and in his vast career he has given countless memorable comedic performances. Like other arts, comedy also comes in all shapes and forms but Paresh identifies with a very light hearted and feel good type of humor. He recently talked about how humor has changed in Indian cinema and denounced vulgar jokes and comedy that comes at the expense of hurting others.
The actor told IANS, "Yes, definitely (it has changed). The buffoonery which was there was also a variety but the kind of comedy which is coming in now is high and good comedy, which I enjoy doing." He added, "There has definitely been a change. I have anyway never been in support of vulgar comedy or run down someone and make fun of physical deformity. That is disgusting. I think the first high comedy I did was 'Andaz Apna Apna'."
On the work front, Paresh Rawal is gearing up for the release of his family comedy 'Hum Do Humare Do' where he'll share screen with actors Rajkummar Rao, Kriti Sanon and Ratna Pathak Shah.
