Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Kabali' was earlier expected to release on May 1st. But now the film's director Pa.Ranjith has confirmed in a video interview that the film will be hitting the screens either on, the last week of May or the first week of June.

Ranjith also revealed that with the extraordinary cooperation from the 'Thalaivar', the shooting of the film has been almost completed within a short period and the post-production work is going on.
