Mohanlal's Paradesi will grace the theatres on October 11 as Ramzan special. The film which is produced by A and A productions will be the first Malayalam venture that the Pyramid Saimira Limited is taking up for distribution. The movie will have forty prints, released all across the state for the festival.

Mohanlal is playing the role of Valiyakath Moosa , an elderly man who is forced to live in his own country as an expatriate. The film features him in four different ages in varied makeups. Renowned director P T Kunjumuhammed weilds the megaphone for the film.
