Thriller movies often have music as a core element, sometime when silence takes the front seat of a poised sequence, its that slow and sensational music that comes after creates a controlled environment. Ghibran has done exactly that in Papanasam which has Kamal in the lead. The songs and instrumental would be better off seen along with the visuals for that is the excitement these tracks have created.

Ghibran uses the best out of the ace singer Hariharan, placed soft and simple the musician has taken the song for a ride by varying composition. Hariharan’s vocals are a delight, as creamy as it could get with the soft paced singing. The song goes as if it’s trans and then with a jump of ecstasy it transforms to a rocky sensation between the interlude. As again Muthukumar’s genius into song writing is a joy to the listener.
