Panjaa - A wholesom offering in store

At a press meet conducted in the run up to the release of Panjaa (it is slated to release on Dec. 9), the producers of the movie said that the film is a new-age entertainer, which holds a mirror to Pawan KalyanÂs attitude and simple persona. He has lent his 110 per cent support for us during the 55 days of the shooting. Though he had a mild rupture in the leg when filming for a fight sequence, he did not give a break.
Panjaa, they say, is a realistic film. There are no in-your-face or over-the-top scenes in the movie. Pawan's comedy is a major highlight of the movie. Not so surprisingly, the chemistry between Pawan and Brahmanandam is pleasing.
The producers also praised Vishnu Vardhan. His directorial touch is stylish, especially the action sequences are slick. He has done cent per cent justice to the story.
Bollywood actor Jackie Shroff, who has a role in the movie, is a friend of Neelima; thatÂs how he landed the role. The talented actor fit the bill perfectly, they said.
As for the response to the audio, they said that the title track, the Paparayudu number and the Yela Yela ditty, are being universally adored. In fact, the songs have been liked by his fans in countries as far as Netherlands.
Since the producers never compromised on quality, the film saw some cost over-runs. They justified it saying cost excess is commonplace.
Producer Neelima said that she joined hands with Arka Media because the project was a big one and partnership would have its benefits.
