Director Pandiraj and actor Siva Karthikeyan have joined hands for the third time after Siva Karthikeyan's debut movie Marina and Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga, with the upcoming movie Namma Veettu Pillai produced by Sun Pictures.

This movie has a huge cast with Anu Emmanuel playing Siva Karthikeyan's pair and Aishwarya Rajesh playing his sister, Samuthirakani playing his father and Bharathiraja as his grandfather. The movie also has RK Suresh, Natarajan, Yogi Babu and Soori.

In a recent interview, Pandiraj was questioned on the unique names he keeps for his characters, like Sobikannu, Kannukiniyaal etc and Pandiraj revealed unique names in Namma Veettu Pillai. The director revealed that Siva Karthikeyan's character is named Arumpon, Bharathiraja is named Arulmozhi Varman and Anu Emmanuel has been named Maangani.
