The modern history of Tamil Nadu will not be complete without mention of the Marina Revolution that started on 8th January 2017 , with fewer than ten people opposite Vivekananda House and evovled and exploded to a dark day on the 23rd of the same month when the powers that be unleashed terror on the participants.

Director Pandiraj is bankrolling the project 'Marina Puratchi' directed by M.S. Raj an erstwhile assistant of Cheran. Velraj is the cinematographer, while Alruffian is scoring the music and Deepak taking care of the editing.  Sources close to Director Pandiraj has revealed to us exclusively that this piece of work is a labour of love for the past eight months and would find its place in the history of Tamils as an authenctic documentation of the revolution for the Jallikattu which succeeded in restoring the ancient sport and rewriting laws.

The teaser of 'Marina Puratchi' can be expected on the auspicious day of "Maatu Pongal' which falls on the 15th of January 2018.  Release dates and other information regarding this unique project will be out soon.
